Olilo is launching the new 5Gbps Freedom Fibre tier across the Greater Manchester footprint, including Sale. The exact light-up date for your address depends on the local XGS-PON build - register your interest and we'll email you the moment your postcode goes live.
Pricing for the 5Gbps tier in Sale hasn't been published yet. Olilo's existing Freedom Fibre 2.3Gbps service starts at £56/month with no install fee on a 12-month term, and the 5Gbps tier will sit above that. We'll publish the launch price ahead of the rollout.
Yes - to actually use a 5Gbps line in Sale you'll need a router with at least one 10GbE WAN port. Olilo doesn't lock you into a specific device, so you can bring whatever you like (UniFi, MikroTik, OPNsense, OpenWrt - all fine).
