London, 12 May 2026 - Olilo today launched L2TP, a Layer 2 tunnelling service that hands any UK broadband line a real public static IP - without changing line, router, or ISP.
Customers keep their existing ISP. Their router opens an L2TP tunnel to Olilo's LNS at l2tp.olilo.co.uk. Everything that goes through the tunnel exits as Olilo - same routing, same reachability, same static IP every time.
The service costs £10 a month, includes a public static IPv4, a /48 IPv6 prefix, and custom reverse DNS, has no setup fee, and runs on a 30-day rolling contract. It is available immediately, anywhere in the UK with a working broadband line.
Most UK consumer broadband puts customers behind carrier-grade NAT, meaning inbound traffic doesn't work. That's fine for streaming. It's a wall for home labs, self-hosted services, game servers, off-site backups, VPN endpoints, mail, and anything else that needs a stable, reachable address.
